Information You Submit
When you use a search form, the name, phone number, or address you enter goes to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Concord People Search does not save a copy of that query on its own servers. If you contact us, we receive whatever you choose to include in your message and use it only to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems record standard server-log details, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the site and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Data
The information described above helps us operate Concord People Search, diagnose errors, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell a list of our visitors. We do not build profiles of individual users.
Privacy Beyond Our Site
Links may lead to Concord, Cabarrus County, or North Carolina government portals, records offices, library collections, and third-party search tools. Each destination applies its own privacy policy, so its rules govern the information you submit there. This is especially true of the sponsored search results on this site, which are provided by a third-party company.
Who May Receive Data
Service providers that host and support this site process server logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We will disclose data if a valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise share visitor data.
How Data Is Safeguarded
An encrypted connection serves the site. Server logs are kept only as long as needed for the purposes stated above. Since Concord People Search has no visitor accounts, we hold no account password or user profile that could be exposed here.
Visitors Under 18
This site is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Options
Your place of residence may give you rights to access, correct, or delete personal data held by a website. No enacted comprehensive North Carolina consumer privacy or data-broker deletion law was identified as of July 28, 2026. Because we retain very little, most requests are simple: we can check our contact mailbox and server logs and remove information we find. Submit a request through the Contact page.
Government records held by Concord, Cabarrus County, or North Carolina agencies are outside our control. They remain subject to the North Carolina Public Records Law, Chapter 132, and any record-specific confidentiality rule. G.S. §132-1.10 permits a free written request to redact an improperly displayed Social Security number, taxpayer ID, driver or state ID number, passport number, bank or card number, PIN, or password from a Register of Deeds or court web image. The signed request must identify the document, the protected information, and its exact location, and it may be sent by mail, fax, electronic means, or in person to the custodian. A false, unauthorized request may result in a penalty of up to $500 per violation.
Removing an entry from a commercial database does not erase the source government record. Use the database company’s official privacy or suppression form, provide only the verification it requires, save the confirmation, and check again later. North Carolina’s Address Confidentiality Program under Chapter 15C offers qualifying survivors a substitute address and mail forwarding for uses that can include voting, licensing, and utilities. Motor-vehicle disclosures are governed separately by the federal Driver’s Privacy Protection Act and G.S. §20-43.1.
